Purpose of the video

Assist our clients using and understanding Sellerboard, your back office reporting tool. Particularly providing your insight into:

Dashboard

Overview of your store operations over the course of the past few days, past month. You can report a custom range for this report.

Profit and Loss

Your store's profits, expenses, and net income, are likely the most important metrics you will want to review periodically, with the option to download when you need it for forecasting, performance, and your end of year taxes.

Menu Options that we use frequently to operate your store

Suppliers

We put in here all the suppliers that we use because when we're creating a purchase order, it's easy for us to attach a supplier to a purchase order so that we can track everything that's going on with a specific supplier.

Purchase Order

Shows items purchased for your store, and whether it's ordered, shipped, or closed. Also shows you the units order, units per box, boxes ordered. This will be reflected in your Profit and Loss for an accurate report. Use this report to determine if products we purchased for your store are at our warehouse, vs at Amazon. If order isn't closed, it is not with Amazon yet. One main thing that you wanna look at the purchase order tab is when we're sending you weekly reports in Slack, you're not going to see any open goods that haven't hit Amazon yet because Amazon is not gonna reflect it.

Planner

We use this to plan our inventory purchases, specifically what items we purchase, how much of the item should we purchase, and when should we purchase it by.

Important: Don't expect numbers to be accurate in the Planner all the time, since this is used for planning purposes only. If you want accurate numbers, go to Profit and Loss, and that's where you will see accurate information. Again, we use this tab so we can know when to reorder products, how much to reorder, and what our margins forecast is.
